Our school meals are cooked on-site by Sara and her team who provide us with healthy balanced meals, freshly prepared. Special dietary requirements can be tailored for so please provide information to school about any requirements your child may have.
All children eat in the dinner hall , whether they have school meals or bring a packed lunch. If your child is bringing a packed lunch from home please make sure that it does not contain sweets or fizzy drinks and that the drink is not in a glass bottle. Please don not send in products that contain nuts as we have children in school with allergies.
All lunchboxes must be clearly marked with your child’s name.
School meals are £2.80 per day and payment is required either via Parent Pay app or card payment at the school office, in person or over the phone. Payments must be kept up to date.
If your child wishes to change from school lunch to packed lunch and vice versa, we require half termly notice. This is essential as the kitchen orders provisions in advance and major changes to school lunch numbers can affect the kitchen staffing arrangements.
Free School Meals
From September 2014 all children in Reception through to Year 2 receive a free school meal as part of a Government initiative. However, if you think you may still be eligible for Free School Meals, we would urge you to apply as extra funding we receive, called Pupil Premium, is dictated by the number of Free School Meal registrations we have.
KS2 Pupils whose parents receive certain support payments may also be entitled to receive free school meals. If you wish to apply please contact the Local Authority Free School Meals team on 01642 526606.
Please find below our current school menus.
